Philosophy

"...because progress starts when parents and children walk the path, together."

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with countless families navigating complex challenges. As a trainer of foster parents and kinship caregivers, I’ve seen firsthand the profound impact that guidance, understanding, and collaboration can have on a child’s future, particularly with those that have ADHD/Executive Function and behavioral challenges.

My professional journey has been deeply enriched by my personal life. As a kinship caregiver to my grandchildren, including my neurodivergent grandson, I’ve gained a unique perspective on the resilience of families and the strength that comes from walking together through challenges. Supporting my grandson’s growth has taught me the critical importance of partnership between parents and children—where each brings their own strengths, learns from the other, and works toward a shared goal.

This combination of professional expertise and personal experience has shaped my philosophy: "Progress starts when parents and children walk the path together." Whether guiding foster families, teaching caregivers, or helping parents connect with their children, I’ve found that real progress happens when trust, empathy, and teamwork lead the way. Together, parents and children can turn obstacles into stepping stones, creating a brighter path forward.
