Are you struggling with parenting a child with ADHD, Oppositional Defiance Disorder, or Executive Dysfunction challenges?

When rewards and punishment don’t work
Calm and Connected© will!

*Are you worried your child won't reach their full potential?

*Do you need support in setting boundaries, encouraging your child, and maintaining calm as you connect with them?

*Do you experience ongoing conflict and disorder in your home?

It's common for parents to view disrespect, low effort, or defiance as cues to become stricter or set firmer boundaries. However, this often leads to increased tension and stress rather than resolution.

Why traditional parenting methods fail.

Traditional methods of rewards and consequences often miss the mark, failing to tackle the root causes behind the behavior. To create meaningful change, it’s essential to focus on sustainable solutions

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Is it necessary for both parents to join the workshop series?tudent may have before purchase.

When two people are involved in parenting a challenging child, the approach and philosophy they each take must support one another. While each parent doesn’t need to participate in the Workshop Series, the opportunity for both to hear firsthand and explore the challenging issues with me is highly beneficial and recommended.

  • As a participant in the workshop, are there any materials I need to buy to follow along with the presentation?

The workshop includes handouts and follow-up emails with additional resources to support you. There is nothing extra to purchase and no additional add-ons to buy.

  • What happens if I miss a live session?

The Calm and Connected workshops run continuously through out the year. If you miss a session, please email the facilitator so the you can take that session during the next scheduled date of that individual session.

  • What is the benefit of joining the live Parent Coaching Workshop Series?

Learning and sharing with other parents allows you to create meaningful connections with others who can understand and help you as you travel your parenting journey. Being a parent of a challenging child can sometimes feel very isolating. Friends and family members may be well-meaning, but without experiencing the daily problems and difficulties you and your child face, their support and guidance may fall short.

  • If I need additional support, is that available as well?

One-On-One Parent Coaching is also available. Click the link above or email Lydia Cooper, [email protected] to arrange a free consultation.

  • Are Parent Coaching Workshops appropriate for single parents, grandparents, or other guardians?

Yes. Single parents find it especially valuable to have other parents to share concerns with and to learn from. Any grandparents or other guardians who are significant caregivers will benefit from the knowledge this workshop provides. And the child will benefit by having everyone educated and in agreement regarding the child’s care.

  • I am not available on the date listed. How often is this workshop offered?

The Calm and Connected Live Interactive Workshops will be running continuously throughout the year.
