Course Description

This 3-hour workshop is a resilience and recovery-oriented training which recognizes that the stories of individuals, their recovery processes and the experiences of their family members are critical tools in moving system transformation forward. Participants will learn this skill through a mix of structured presentations, virtual role playing activities and group discussions.

Bilingual Learning and Development Specialist

Hannah Spittle, B.A.

Hannah Spittle is a Bilingual Learning and Development Specialist at the Institute at MHP. With a degree in Spanish and education from Ohio State University, Hannah has a passion for educating people of all ages. During her time at Ohio State, she was a Spanish tutor and participant in the Adopt-a-School program, a volunteer organization for underfunded schools in the Columbus area. To kickstart her Spanish career, Hannah was able to take part in an exchange program at La Universidad de Alcalá in Alcalá de Henares, Spain. Prior to MHP, Hannah worked a summer internship as a translator for the United States Census Bureau in 2020. Additionally, she taught twenty-six classes per week as a travel Spanish teacher throughout the school year. Hannah looks forward to continuing to utilize her abilities through facilitating CPS and other MHP courses in Spanish.
